ADE 1.2.89 lets agents and the ade CLI work across all your machines, makes the ADE browser follow a remote machine’s localhost, and gives the Usage page accurate costs.

Machines

  • Agents and the ade CLI can see and act on chats, lanes, and projects on your other machines with --machine and --all-machines, and a child chat started in another project now wakes its parent (#1451).
  • The ADE browser opens a remote machine’s localhost links on that machine, reaches dev servers that listen only on ::1, and shows dev servers from every connected machine (#1452).
  • On iOS, manage the AI accounts of each connected machine, not only the primary one (#1447).

Usage and cost

  • Costs now price Codex Fast and Ultrafast and Claude fast mode at their own rates, include chats that ran on a second Claude or Codex account, and split spend by type, speed, chat, lane, and account (#1450).
  • Each Claude turn now records its own cost. Before, a turn recorded the running total of the whole session (#1453).
  • Subagent cards and a subagent’s thread now show the subagent’s own model and effort (#1453).
  • The model router’s shadow log records each subagent’s real effort and a task kind read from its brief, so the router’s data can be trusted (#1453).

Work

  • Lane status and a Fold control for busy lanes in Work, and clearer quiet shelves on iOS (#1448).
  • A lane that comes back from the Working shelf no longer jumps to the top in Manual sort (#1449).
  • Diff views show a lane’s committed work, and mermaid diagrams render in chat (#1450).
