v1.2.20 lands cross-machine session handoff, a mobile chat UI overhaul, sharper Automations delivery warnings, and a batch of chat, usage, and reliability fixes.

Desktop and CLI

  • Cross-machine session handoff. Hand an active session off from one paired machine to another and pick up where you left off.
  • Claude chat polish. Fixed end-chat teardown, added a scalable actions pane, copy-turn, SessionStore self-heal, a full-fidelity transcript view, and chat tags.
  • Sharper Automations delivery warnings. Per-source delivery warnings replace gateway-only alerts, an actionable trust banner points at the exact setup step, and each source carries its own brand identity.
  • Reliable usage stats. Usage refresh is now reliable and lifetime totals stay accurate across clients.
  • Machine-level Chats tab. A real machine-level Chats tab with a redesigned projectless-chat flow.
  • Disk-space aware auto-update. Desktop auto-update surfaces disk-space failures and recovery steps instead of failing silently.
  • Files tab always editable. Removed view-only mode and fixed remote workspace-id staleness that could strand paired machines.
  • GPT-5.6 Max reasoning. Exposed GPT-5.6 Max reasoning across ADE.
  • Fixes. Restored copying from macOS CLI terminals, fixed Linear batch launch readiness and blank chats, and made Codex app-server failures recover automatically.

iOS

  • Mobile chat UI overhaul. Staged send, question cards, and artifact cards across the Work chat surfaces.
  • Cross-machine handoff and usage. iOS follows cross-machine session handoff and gains a usage/activity carousel backed by a mobile usage quota store.
  • GPT-5.6 in the catalog. The Work model catalog includes the GPT-5.6 family.
