v1.2.3 is a desktop updater repair release. It restores the packaged GitHub update feed config that macOS installs need in order to download and install future ADE releases.

  • Updater install path. ADE now configures the GitHub update feed at runtime and also ships app-update.yml inside the macOS app bundle, so update checks can move from “update available” to a real downloaded installer.
  • Release validation. The mac release validator now opens the signed app, the updater zip, and the mounted DMG to confirm the packaged update feed config exists and points at arul28/ADE.
  • Recovery note. Installs already sitting on a 1.2.0 through 1.2.2 bundle that is missing app-update.yml may need one manual install of this build. After v1.2.3 is installed, future macOS updates use the repaired updater path.
