v1.2.51 overhauls the web client’s pre-project experience and terminal fidelity, brings every git worktree into the lanes model automatically, fixes a clipboard “Copied” lie, and closes a duplicate-row bug in the Work sidebar.

Web client overhaul

  • Pre-project experience, terminal fidelity, and sync-host hardening. The hosted web client gets a reworked pre-project flow, more faithful terminal rendering, hardened sync-host handling, and richer CLI connection states.

Auto-lanes: every git worktree is a lane

  • Worktrees no longer need manual attaching. Every git worktree of a project now auto-appears as a lane and reaps automatically when the worktree is gone from both git and disk. Ownership is scoped per project so a linked worktree only adopts its own lanes.
  • External-session import overhaul across all five providers (Claude, Codex, Cursor, Droid, OpenCode) — more accurate discovery, deduping, and fork/continuation handling, plus a durable imported-refs store that survives closing the session.
  • The old attach/multi-attach/adopt UI is removed in favor of the unified lane model; sync remote commands stay in place as compatibility stubs for existing mobile clients.

Fixes

  • Copy-to-clipboard no longer reports success when the write failed. A shared useCopyToClipboard hook now returns false on a failed write instead of flashing “Copied” anyway — most consequential in the secrets panel, where a false “it’s on your clipboard” risked pasting a stale value into a .env or terminal.
  • The Work sidebar no longer double-lists a session. Starting a chat could briefly render it twice — once bare, once under its lane with a machine badge — until an optimistic entry reconciled away. Session claiming across machines is now content-scoped instead of machine-scoped.
  • Global reduced-motion support: renderer-wide AnimatePresence/layoutId animations now respect the system’s reduce-motion setting in one place instead of per-site opt-ins.
