ADE 1.2.87 adds in-app sign-in for provider accounts, forking a chat from any turn, a lane-aware Commits view, a bulk menu for selected chats, and smoother long chat threads.

Chat

  • Fork a chat from any turn. Subagents get a permission ceiling, machines get launch defaults, wakes are batched, and you can reorder the queue (#1441).
  • Long chat threads load older history in the background and scroll smoothly. The “load earlier” arrow is gone (#1442).
  • ADE slash commands expand for every provider and delivery path, including OpenCode and ACP agents (#1436).
  • The handoff dialog closes on success and defaults to the source chat’s model and permissions (#1440).

Accounts

  • Sign in to Claude Code and Codex accounts inside ADE, with a redesigned Accounts panel and smarter load balancing (#1435).

Work and lanes

  • Right-click a multi-selection in the Work sidebar for a bulk menu: grid, snooze, settle, stop, and lane actions (#1439).
  • Lane ahead/behind is measured on this machine instead of showing a cached copy (#1433).

History

  • The Commits view is lane-aware, with a graph, paging, and links from Lanes (#1430).
  • Commit ownership, sync, and Primary colouring follow lanes correctly (#1434).
  • Opening straight onto History or CTO no longer shows an empty sidebar (#1437).

Agent tools

  • ade app-control launches ADE’s dev app, targets list rows, caps proof file names, and adds right-click (#1432).
  • ade mac-desktop names the next input method to try when an action is unconfirmed (#1431).

iOS

  • Work rows follow live chat turn state without pull-to-refresh (#1443).
  • Codex startup diagnostics are compact, the new-chat pane fits the screen, and Custom harnesses appear in the model picker (#1438).
