# v1.2.86

> Release notes for ADE v1.2.86 - October 2, 2026

ADE 1.2.86 merges GitHub Stacks from ADE, links a stack to one Work card, adds thread comments on agent replies, resumes interrupted agents after an update, and gives a new theme system.

* Merge a GitHub Stack from ADE with the async merge API (#1428).
* Link a GitHub stack to a Work chat and merge it as one Work card (#1419).

## Chat

* Comment on a part of an agent reply, and use a better **Add to chat** (#1422).
* A stalled turn shows a banner, and a preset's harness applies when you create a chat (#1420).
* Claude Agent SDK 0.3.287, with human-origin interrupts (#1423).
* OpenCode chats get the browser token and track background shells. Tool failures show honestly (#1416, #1421).
* The Codex steering question card aligns with the composer column (#1417).
* Thread commit chips and links to other machines open correctly (#1426).
