# v1.2.106

> Release notes for ADE v1.2.106 - October 15, 2026

ADE 1.2.106 fixes the compaction timer and labels cancelled compactions.

## Chat

* A compaction's elapsed timer counts once instead of restarting mid-run, on desktop and iOS (#1637).
* A cancelled compaction says "Compaction cancelled" instead of "Compaction failed" (#1637).
